I’m sure we are all aware by now that we will not be resuming training or other activities on 30 March, and that club activities are likely to be suspended for some considerable time.
Further to my previous message with regard to the suspension of April subscriptions, the committee has agreed that it is now appropriate to announce an indefinite suspension of monthly subscriptions.
As previously messaged if you would like to, and are able to, continue with subscription payments, the club’s intention is to put these to one side to pay for those extras we often don’t have sufficient funds to buy, such as new kits etc.
If you are unable to, or would prefer not to, continue to pay monthly subscriptions that is entirely understandable and will be totally respected.
Just a reminder that we will unfortunately not be able to refund subs paid in error if you forget to cancel your standing order. This would be a mammoth task for me and I will be continuing to work, as many of us will, during this period, to ensure that my hospital continues to have enough money to pay for drugs and supplies and for the salaries of the amazing doctors, nurses, porters, cleaners etc. I trust that you understand ❤️
Most important of all: Stay safe and follow current social distancing advice, stay healthy with regular exercise, stay strong, and look after one another. And keep in touch. Not the normal way to end a message from the committee, but …… much love ❤️
